Having fun with color and subject matter today. Oil on linen 16x 20.
And then I painted this - still having fun with color but cannot explain why I chose this subject - perhaps it was the appearance of warthogs amongst the bunnies last week.

Wonderful, as ever. I suppose we do have to paint somewhat grisly subjects sometimes - go where the muse beckons.
ReplyDeleteI think that with a little manipulation you could squeeze the elephant into a ballet sequence :0)
ReplyDeleteThe rabbit is a very dramatic turn! I love the way you keep changing the focus, ballet/ steeplechase/dogs etc. Your enjoyment in your work is obvious ... long may it last!!
I'm always looking to see what your going to do next ... just love your work!
Hmm. Your subject is quite interesting from a big animal to a small one. Well done. Thanks for sharing.
