  1. One wonders what these animals might be thinking. While the tiger shows a cat's curiosity: considering the available options, the Lion seem resigned to the unwanted routine. I can imagine how powerful these images are full-size. ...............Is this the complete set? or can we expect on ongoing series? Hopefully the latter

    1. You are so astute, John. These beautiful beasts are still wild and wildly instinctual animals. Can they be trusted? Here is the blurb for the gallery wall -
In A Perilous Comfort, apparent composure masks a deeper misconception of the situation. The stillness of the white lions is seen as submission, yet their restraint suggests controlled energy rather than passivity - wildness held temporarily in check.
Together with it's companion piece An Uneasy Accord, the works examine the gap between human interpretation and natural reality The danger is not portrayed as conquered or controlled but as ever-present- and possibly underestimated.

The two new companion pieces (Lion 1 and Tiger 1) are meant to enhance the question of what comes next.

I will post a photo of them hanging together as a group.

Thank you so much for visiting my site an commenting. I have tried several times to comment on your blog but they never show. You are truly an inspiration, John.
