I adore figurative and horse painting - can't seem to do enough of either! Thank you for your kind comments and best of luck with your exhibition at the Polo Club of Saint Tropez - that is so exciting and I hope you have many sales!
There is that dash of 'controlled frenzy' about the horse, that is often reflected in the ballerinas ... a sort of celebration in the joy of being alive
Frenzy does seem right in describing him, John! I like very much and admire your thought that these paintings are a celebration of the joy of life. That makes me smile!
I didn't have a chance to tell you how much I love the diva-sized ballerina you posted yesterday - she is mah-vellous, dah-ling! And your chestnut is definitely one horse I would not be keen to ride. He is awesome - tough, raw power!!! The colors are superb, Susan. Maybe not rideable, but really a looker!
Okay Susan! You and your wonderful horse not only defy gravity you laugh at! Another majestic masterpiece! Your tremendous art screams of glory, happiness and so much more! Thank you for being the grand artist you are! Your Happy Boston Strong Art Buddy! Michael
