Return of the Warthog
This time he made a more formal appearance - on canvas instead of cardboard! And he turned out to be a very colorful fellow. He is 12x16 oil on canvas panel.
I have not been able to visit blogs for a week so it is almost like a vacation to catch up. I enjoyed looking at what I had missed and congratulations on the Santa cover. They have good taste! This warthog makes me smile. Such wonderful colors
Hello Susan! Love the warthog! Bing it on! Great strength! Also love the "Steeplechase" from the other day. High drama, powerful emotion and exciting movement! Very nice. Michael
LOL - I paintd him in watercolor with silver sparkly things for my very limited edition Christmas card this year. I mailed them out without even taking a photo - what was I thinking?!!
Love your colour choices!
ReplyDeleteI consider that a very nice compliment coming from you, Nora. :)
DeleteOK, I have to say it ... that is one badass-looking wild boar! Great colors, and I love the kink in his tail. :)
ReplyDeleteHi, Kathryn - trying to get motion and energy in his stride and humor and magic in his coloring!

Thanks so much, Julie. I am quite excited about the cover as well - some good fortune came my way!
DeleteWhat a sweet warthog, with the pink touches! Love him!
ReplyDeleteI like the pink, too. I think he must be the envy of the other warthogs!
