Thinking Big - 30 x 30
A new start today and a glimpse into another corner of my new studio. My next project is to get some kind of lighting system. I have wonderful consistent northern light all day but need to be able to paint after the sun goes down!
Love this painting- love everything about it- composition, subject matter and even the size! Always enjoy seeing others studios- I have baskets too and have found that helps me stay pretty organized:)
Thank you, Susan - I surely hope you are right! Much appreciated, David, Gina, Linda and Kathy! This is the first time I have a place to call my own to paint in - and the first time I can step back more than 2 feet to view my work!
I love how there's always action in your work. Looks like a great start.
ReplyDeleteI think the long break has brewed inside you and will now explode out like flood waters!
your studio looks very nice.
ReplyDeleteColors in this painting are wonderful, like the comp too
OH MY, this is marvelous!!! So glad to see you "back in the saddle!"
ReplyDeleteLove the painting! And what a neat studio you have! A foreign concept to me! :-)

Beautiful, your brush strokes translate so beautifully bigger. Keep us posted on your lighting, it's always good to know what works for others.
ReplyDeleteNice space! You look so well organized too!
