Self Portrait Inbetween Studying

Self Portrait in Mirror / graphite on newsprint
Only time for about a 30 minute study and the only live model around was me :o !

  1. Wooo... Synchronicity! I was at work today, happened to take my sketch book. My last patient wanted to take a look, looked through as he was sitting with a mouth full of fluoride, and stopped and pointed at a self portrait I'd done a few months ago. And I thought I really should do a proper one ... and then you posted yours when I got home. Well, that was long and pointless. :)
    LOVE your self portrait, Susan!

    Gros bisous

  14. Hi Susan I don't get much time to swing by anymore. Love what you've been doing. All that stuff that just pours out of you, it's the ticket! Your drawings are just wonderful too. I can see why you are sad the sessions are coming to an end. Keep up the great work!

    1. Hi, Julie - and thank you for your concern. I am touched that you missed seeing me here. Its been a hard and frustrating couple of weeks. I was on such a roll and kind of screeched to a halt when I began studying to get those 80 continuing education credits to renew my license. Afterwards, I spent a week of great frustration with wipe off after wipe off. I am not sure if I am going to hit my stride again soon but I am persevering!
