Merry, Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to All!

Wishing you a Magically Merry Christmas
and a Happily Wondrous New Year!

And I want to thank everyone who has followed my blog and taken the time to write their thoughts and comments to me this past year. I appreciate the great support I receive from everyone and the close friendships made and nurtured online always amaze me. In thinking back, I find that I have relied more on these online relationships in the art community than ever before and greatly value all the connections I have made. A big, warm hug and a deeply heartfelt thanks are in order!

I do have some exciting year end news to share and will do so as soon after Christmas as I can. Until then, I hope everyone around the world can celebrate their special holidays in peace, happiness and goodwill toward all.

Not fair to dangle the "exciting news" and keep us waiting. It would have been an enjoyable rush of pleasure to hear it...like a christmas gift. Sigh... I guess it will be a nice New Year's gift instead.

  10. What a warm and wonderful message,Susan, and what warm and cheering images. Thank you.

You are inspirational: when I first blogged all I was doing was pen & ink, then I stumbled onto your blog and it took my breath away. So I blame you, Linda, Julie and Sandra for the paint all over my clothes, door handles etc (and some on the canvas).

Here's hoping that your good news is the fanfare for a successful 2015.

    1. I am always thrilled to the tips of my toes when another accomplished artist tells me that my work is inspirational. What could be better than that?! And to see you progress in this wonderful endeavor in which we are all immersed is a definite joy for me. Thank you for your thoughtful, fun and enlightening comments this past year, John (you were missed while you were away), and for your Christmas greetings in Welsh - it looks like a quite unusual language to my eyes. I feel compelling to respond in Dutch - vrolijk kerstfeest en een prachtige nieuwe jaar - as my daughter is now living in Amsterdam and this is the first Christmas we will be apart. So sweet and so bittersweet! Here is to a fruitful and artful New Year!

    2. Welsh is older than English, being over 1400 years.

Welsh evolved from British, the Celtic language spoken by the ancient Britons. Alternatively classified as Insular Celtic or P-Celtic, it probably arrived in Britain during the Bronze Age or Iron Age and was probably spoken throughout the island
