Painting in Oil
LOVE this painting, Susan! I never get tired of your "ladies"....I love the color of her dress and the texture...Excellent!
Thank you for the kind words. I used thalo green with lots of white and found it not too difficult to control. I liked carrying this color through to areas of her skin and the background.
Yes, oh my gosh! Fantastic portrait Susan. Thank you for asking after my health. I`m getting there. All the best.Vic.
Glad to hear you are on the mend, Vic. And so happy you like her.
And it shows in the painting! It is fabulous! Love it :0)
Many thanks, Sandra. I see some areas I want to tweak once the paint is set. But I do like her attitude!
Thank you for visiting, Chana - and thank you for the nice comment.
She looks links great fun. I do love your full figured ballerinas. They always make me smile.
Thanks, Linda. I am not yet sure where I am going with them but they are keeping me on my toes along the way!
Je ziet ze denken hoor......mooie kleuren in haar kleedje.groetjes,Simonne
Thanks, Simmone - those words make me happy! :)
Oh, YES! The color harmony is wonderful. I love everything about this painting!
I love your excitement! Thanks so much, Mary!
I like this lady so much. She tells her story by this pose and expression and colors. I thought about her victories also (the fringes of her chair look like the hanged victims)))
I am delighted by your interpretation of this painting, Irina - thank you for sharing your thoughts with me!
Your comments are welcome and brighten my day!
