  1. See the onlooker in the bottom with their hands on their hips? That's ME!!! That's the way I stand and my daughter stands the same way :) I love this Susan... adding the people is a nice touch and different than your other horse paintings. I love this as well!

    1. Hi, Kathryn - thank you for your kind words. I was unsure about the color in this - I tried Cobalt Violet in this piece which is a relatively new color for me. I will come back to view it with rested eyes in a day or two.

  4. Love everything about this one...Perspective is fabulous and the people in the background hold your interest and kick you back to the horses...Pun intended:) Love the strength that you capture as always!!

Meanwhile I'm so deep into drawing this cathedral I think I shall never see daylight again :0)

    1. Oh, thanks so much, John. There is a certain space-time symmetry including color chromodynamics and interactions that I had in mind as I painted - trying to link them to the physical world of angles, action and foreshortening - lol! Why do I set these crazy goals for myself?! It sounds like your goal is a lofty one in taking on The Minister! I will patiently wait until you emerge from the darkness!
